Mike Sinterniklaas took this idiotic gem while Jackson and I were on the fire escape smoking during a Venture voice recording. I was giving Mike “Catalogue Vogue.” Jackson gave him “Smoking Indifference.” Pedee was giving “I’m Cold.”

Sadly, Jackson Publick was not at Dragon*Con this weekend, so there is little material applicable to this blog, though Doc Hammer was his usual epic self. But, during the official Venture Brothers panel, Doc announced how much he missed Jackson and said that it felt as if his arm was missing. Then, Ken Plume called Jackson and gave Doc the phone so that we, the audience, could tell Jackson how much we love him. <3

- UGO: Have you two ever had any disagreements about character developments, or scripts? How do you resolve that?
- Doc: Let me explain something. We are professionally in love with each other. We do not have the option of arguing, it slows down production, and we have come to a point where we’ve argued on things - he likes something I don’t, he goes ahead with it, it works, everybody likes it, and vice-versa. Jackson will not like something I do, we run it in the show, it plays out. That has bred a kind of trust where our opinions are not for if they're good or if they're bad, it’s a very minor thing where I want it to go one way he wants it to go another way. The minute where I feel he really cares, he can f*cking have it, there’s nothing worth arguing about because we trust each other implicitly.
